I had gynecomastia problem from my teenage. I have never appeared with bare chest in my home, college or outside. I used to avoid all type of outdoor activities just to hide my chest from others. I could not able to wear shirts, T-Shirts as I like. At the age of 26, I finally decided to do something for my gynecomastia. I had read some reviews about the surgery in Internet.
I took a sometime researching the procedure in Google for cosmetic surgery centers in Bangalore. I went for a consultation with Dr. Madhukumar at his clinic 'MIDAS Cosmetic Surgery Clinic'. I explained about my problem and asked all my doubts and concerns about the surgery. I worried about scaring, sensation, and other general fears. Dr. Madhukumar is so caring and made me feel comfortable from the moment I had my first appointment. After talking with him, I decided that I wanted him to perform the surgery. Like all patients, i had my apprehensions before approaching anyone .After doing my own bit of internet research i had short-listed three surgeons . After having consultations with all three what i appreciated in Dr Madhukumar was his patience to answer my zillion questions and willingness to explain at length the entire procedure. Even though hospital was way far off from my residence , comfort factor with the doctor was the main reason of my choice. I did not have surprises before or after operation which is significant in cosmetic procedures. However one needs to read up on one's own so as to not to get disillusioned for want of immediate results. In my case, i could see significant reduction of fat in my hips which was a major painpoint for me.

Just wanted to share the experience .
I always had a fear for surgery and pain.But wanted to remove the fat which had accumulated after child birth.
Even though I used to exercise that particular part, the lower tummy fat I was just not able to get rid of and when I found out the best way of removal is through Abdominoplasty , I decided to go through It and went to Fortis and i was put through a battery of tests and found me fit for surgery. And Dr.Madhukumar had given a green signal for surgery. The day before the operation , Dr.Madhukumar met me and went through the procedure , it sounded quite simple and safe. He also explained its a long procedure and the operation will take around 4hrs. But, by the end of it I shall have a flat stomach .
On the day of the operation I was taken in and they gave me few shots and an epidural that's all I remember . I woke up to some pain, but it was kept under control with pain killers and when Doctor told me the next day I have to get up and walk , I thought he was joking but they made me walk and I realised the pain comes down the more I start to move around. The after care was all managed so beautifully it all went through with out a hitch and I was discharged after 2days.
Doctor also explained the pain will be there but at the end of the day , worth it. Even the pain was more only on the first day after the surgery it started to decrease from the 2nd day onwards.
I realised if we follow what ever the Doctor prescribes to the ‘T’ , we can recover within the stipulated time.The only pain after coming home was wearing the abdominal binder 24/7 for Three months. But it was worth the pain. And now I am back doing all my normal work and routine without a problem and absolutely no pain and a flat stomach.

It was approximately 5 years back when I came to Bangalore and immediately after I felt hair loss. I met many trichologist but found no improvement. Few of them suggested me hair transplant,Few bluffed to me that they can grow hair with medicines. Since transplant was costly & with my previous experiences, trusting doctor was very difficult. We started surgery on first week of September 2011.The staff as well as doctor was very supportive throughout 8 hr long surgery. They gave me local anesthesia only on head. During surgery I didn’t get bored as I talked as well as watched television. With 2-3 breaks, the surgery finished. The strip of the back scalp is removed with precautions and it healed very fast without any adverse effect. The surgery is done only for the front portion of the head. I was also advised hair loss medicines.

I got my Tummy tuck and male breast reduction done in the month of April 2012 by Dr Madhu Kumar. I had undergone bariatric surgery 2 years ago and had lost about 50 kgs. I wanted to get rid of the loose skin on my torso.My experience was good . It was uncomfortable initially , I also thought that why the hell did i do the surgery,as it was uncomfortable and painful, The worst part was I was not allowed to drive for 2 weeks but as the days progressed I was looking better with my new shape and the comfort zone was getting back .
Any surgery done , is a very weird experience . Morning i used to look much leaner and by evening i used to look little bulged up and then i learned that there would be swelling by the evening on the operated area .The scars looked prominent initially, but now after 6 months it is much better.
I think main role of your Surgeon is that he/she can give you a lot of comfort just by their words. I was lucky to have Dr. Madhukumar , as he is well experienced and very soft spoken. I have asked him many such stupid questions 10 times a day , but still not even once did he get annoyed but answered my queries in a very soft , justifying and satisfactory manner .
Lastly , if you have excess loose skin after weight loss, this is the best way to overcome the problem and look better.
